PGA Tour Canada Qualifying

Victoria, BCPGA Tour Canada opens their season in Victoria, British Columbia for the Times Colonist Open this week. I have competed in this tournament twice before and this week, I will have to earn my spot through Monday qualifying. I’ll be playing my practice round this afternoon at Gorge Valley CC where tomorrow’s qualifier takes place. I’ve been told the course is extremely hilly and undulating, which shouldn’t bother a kid who grew up playing New Hampshire golf. 120 players will compete for 10 spots tomorrow. I had a fantastic week of training and preparation at Edmonton Country Club this week where I posted a season low 65 and was able to get in a very confident state of mind. I expect to continue the progress tomorrow when I start my assault on par at 9:30 am.

Looking forward to reporting good news tomorrow evening.
